The Gzhel Porcelain Factory and Buylerika Ceramic, a family brand of artisan jewelry, are proud to present "Barefoot on the Grass", a limited summer collection.
This is a creative union of two houses, bringing back the brightest and warmest memories of childhood — of summer, joy and carefree days. The collection revives characters many have come to love: tender bears and kindly roly-poly dolls, joined by new arrivals — spirited little roosters. The defining artistic feature of this collaboration is colour. Both brands deliberately step away from the classic blue-and-white pairing and return to the tradition of multicoloured painting, older than cobalt itself.
"Barefoot on the Grass" is the second joint project between the two brands. The first, "Toys of Our Childhood", launched in winter 2025 and sold out in less than a week.
In this new collaboration, every detail is brought into harmony: Buylerika Ceramic designs the forms and makes each piece by hand, while Maria Kaligina, an artist at the Gzhel Porcelain Factory, applies the signature colour painting and delicate cobalt accents with flawless skill. Together they turn porcelain into a keepsake of summer.
